What is ADI Prep Ireland for?

ADI Prep Ireland is an independent study app for people preparing for the Irish Approved Driving Instructor qualification, with a primary focus on Category B candidates. It is designed to support Stage 1 revision and also includes Stage 2 and Stage 3 preparation material.

Is it official?

No. ADI Prep Ireland is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or approved by the Road Safety Authority or Prometric. Practice questions are independently authored and are not official assessment questions.

Do I need an account?

No. The app has no account system and no TritonApps study-data backend. Your study history, settings, reminders, and lesson-plan work stay on your device.

Study modes

The Study area is designed for different revision needs rather than forcing you through a single flow.

• Diagnostic helps you build an early baseline.
• Quick 10 is for short revision bursts.
• Learn is for slower, explanation-first study.
• Unseen focuses on questions you have not worked through yet.
• Smart Review, Incorrect, Bookmarked, and Recently Added are available in the premium unlock.

The app tracks practice performance so that weak areas are easier to revisit, but it does not claim to predict whether you will pass the real assessment.

Structured mocks

How are the full mocks built?

The full mock is structured around five subject sections and uses the published question split and practice thresholds for those sections. It is intended to feel like a realistic revision checkpoint rather than a generic mixed quiz.

Does the app invent an overall pass mark?

No. ADI Prep Ireland is designed around per-section performance and breakdowns. It deliberately avoids inventing a single overall pass prediction that could be mistaken for an official result.

Can I review wrong answers?

Yes. Mock results are designed to help you see which sections are costing you marks, revisit weak areas, and return to flagged questions later.

Stage 2 and Stage 3

The app goes beyond Stage 1 revision with structured guidance for later parts of the ADI qualification journey. This includes preparation modules, teaching scenarios, fault-analysis support, and lesson-planning material. The first module in both Stage 2 and Stage 3 is available in the free experience; the rest is part of the lifetime unlock.

Study reminders

Study reminders are optional and are scheduled locally on your device. Notification permission is only requested when you explicitly enable reminders. There is no notification backend and no push-notification account system.

If reminders do not appear, check that notifications are allowed for ADI Prep Ireland in your OS settings.

Lifetime purchase and restore

How does premium work?

The app is designed to offer a free starting experience with a one-time lifetime purchase for the full version. Purchase access is managed through the app stores and RevenueCat.

How do I restore purchases?

Open the Settings screen and use Restore purchases. This re-checks your entitlement for the current supported store account on that platform.

Will a purchase move between iPhone and Android?

Not automatically. The app does not have its own account system, so purchases may not transfer between iOS and Android unless the platform and store rules support it for your purchase path.

Refunds

Refunds are handled by the Apple App Store or Google Play, not by TritonApps directly. If you need help finding the correct store flow, email us and we will point you in the right direction.

Reporting a question

If you use Report a problem on a question, the app opens a draft in your email client. Nothing is sent unless you choose to send that email yourself.

Troubleshooting

My progress disappeared after reinstalling

Study progress is stored locally on your device. Deleting the app may remove local study history, settings, and lesson-plan work. Purchases can usually be restored, but local progress is not automatically restored because there is no app account or cloud sync.

The premium content is still locked after purchase

Try Restore purchases from Settings while connected to the internet. If the issue remains, email support with your device type, platform, and what happened.

I am not getting reminders

Make sure reminders are enabled inside the app and that your device allows notifications for ADI Prep Ireland.

I found a content issue

Please use the in-app reporting option where possible so the relevant question details are included in your email draft.

Privacy and local data

Details of how the app handles data are in the Privacy Policy. The short version is simple: no account, no study-data backend, no location, no microphone, no contacts, no camera, and progress stays on your device. Purchases are processed by the app stores and entitlement access is managed via RevenueCat.
